# 1 : The Prep
Emails are flying around.
Phone lines are burnt up.
Hushed words are whispered around.
Excited plans are taking shape.
Yup, these are all in preparation for Sweetheart’s big day when he turns 31 this weekend.
To-date, there are 4 parties in the pipeline already. All with different social groups. Won’t be surprised if a couple more crops up by the end of the week. *sweat*
The company, the boozing, the partying, the food – there’s definitely gonna be an avalanche of ‘em! And the celebration is gonna be stretching across 2 weekends. Yup, madness with a capital M.
In a strange sorta way, that makes my man happy.
Of coz that makes me happy too.
And happy women do happy things.
Like cooking her man’s favourite dishes on his birthday and baking cupcakes instead of getting a ready-baked cake from the store.
My mind is filled with a million questions on the cupcakes :
- Should I go for this yummilious recipe?
- Or this can’t-go-wrong-with-wine-n-choc-n-strawberries recipe?
- Or his favourite color?
- Or his favourite cake flavor?
- Or for the margarita-lovers?
- Or utilise the fresh mangoes I just bought today?
Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.
Arghhhh….. *pull hair*
